Coyote Centrifugal Blast Wheel

Wheel: 10" diameter, 3600 RPM direct drive wheel. Balanced wheel components assure smooth operation and maximum abrasive velocity.
Blades: Four, 2" curved, cast, abrasive resistant alloy blades, unique smap-lock design eases blade replacement.
Control Cage: Dial type cage.
Wheel Housing: Fabricated from 1/4" steel plate and protected by replaceable cast alloy steel liners.

Cabinet Construction

Cabinet: Low profile, 1/4" steel plate, access holes simplify belt replacement and removal of tramp metal on abrasive screen.
Work Loading Height: 36"
Work Load Capacity: 17" wide x 20" diameter mill will handle 1.25 cubic feet or 150 LBS.
Cabinet Door: Easy opening, pneumatically locked, polyurethane door provides full access to blast chamber. Door is positively sealed from abrasive and dust leakage.
Conveyor: 2 ply construction, continuous molded rubber tumble belt with 1/8" diameter abrasive drain holes. Tumbling ridges are molded directly onto the belt.
Conveyor Rollers: Rollers have 1 3/16" diameter solid shafts. All rollers are mounted to the cabinet with standard (4) bolt flange bearings.
Conveyor Speed: 7.68 feet per minute.

Power and Air Requirements

Nema: Type 12 electrical enclosure, thermal overload protection for all motors. 230 or 460 volt operation, Ammeter, oil tight push button controls and timer controls abrasive flow and blast wheel motor, mill lockout for blast pattern test.
Air Requirement: 90 - 110 PSI required to operate abrasive valve, door and optional dust collector automatic blow downpneumatic door lock, optional power door and dust collector automatic blow down.
Electric Motors: All motors are totally enclosed and fan cooled to provide maximum life.
Blast Motor: 5 HP, 3600 RPM
Mill Drive: 1/3 HP, 1800 RPM
Elevator Drive: 1/3 HP, 1800 RPM

Abrasive Recycling System

Elevator: Dust-tight, centrifugal discharge belt and bucket elevator with removable service and inspection cover. Screw adjusted take-up for positive belt adjustment and unique separator design provided continuous air wash of abrasive which removes contaminants and unusable abrasive.
Abrasive Screening: Abrasive screening in cabinet eliminates tramp metal from entering blast wheel.
Abrasive Control: Totally enclosed, fully adjustable, manual butterfly valve, quietly and precisely controls abrasive flow.
Abrasive Required: 100 pounds for initial start-up.
Dust Collector: 400 CFM

Safety and Structure

Safety: Blast wheel operational only when door is closed. Chain drive is fully guarded.
